(under subclass 438) Device wherein a work guide structure is fixed to, or connected so as to move upon movement of, an element which supports a tool for rotation or motion through a cutting stroke but which does not itself undergo such rotation or cutting stroke motion.
(1) Note. The work guide is stationary throughout cutting operations.
(2) Note. A common type of tool carrier is a support and bearing structure for mounting a rotary-disc cutter
assembly.
