(under subclass 259) Device wherein the continuously driven feed member has a frictional work-engaging surface which has been modified, as by cutting away portions thereof, to cause intermittent drive of the work by repeated engagement and disengagement of such surface therewith.
(1) Note. The dwell is caused by interruption of frictional driving engagement between feed element and work surface.
