Polyacrylonitrile fiber:

(under subclass 529) Subject matter for dyeing a blend containing a fiber derived from acrylonitrile.

(1) Note. This subclass includes acid and basic modified polyacrylonitrile blends. The acid modified polyacrylonitrile usually is a polyacrylonitrile with additional pendant -SO3- or -COO- radicals as by copolymerizing acrylonitrile with a sulfonated monomer.
