Manual controlling elements:

(under subclass 479.01) Subject matter in which there is a plurality of exclusively hand or exclusively foot operated devices which together provide inputs to control the system's single output element. [figure]

(1) Note. In this subclass, manual elements include, but are not limited to such devices as push buttons, levers, handwheels, foot pedals, etc.

(2) Note. In this subclass, and in coordinate and subordinate subclasses, the terms "manual" and "hand operated" also includes using leg or foot power.
