DEFINITION

Classification: 74/379

(under subclass 376) Transmissions wherein a bevel driving gear is in constant mesh with a plurality of driven bevel gears, loosely mounted on the driven shaft with a manually operated slidable clutch for connecting either of the loosely mounted gears to its shaft and wherein the drive and driven shafts are in alignment, and the common bevel gear, which is in mesh with both loose gears, acts as an idler to reverse the drive.
