.~ Machining between plural metal-deforming operations
DEFINITION
Classification: 72/341
Machining between plural metal-deforming operations:
(under subclass 324) Subject matter, not provided for in preceding subclasses, and involving the conversion of a portion of a product of metal deformation into chips, filings, etc., and followed by another deforming operation on the unconverted portion of said product.
(1) Note. The term "product of metal deformation" denotes any piece, blank, or supply of coherent material upon which an operation of the class type has been performed; a product of metal deformation may thus constitute "work" for a succeeding deforming operation.
