Although some texts include operative procedures to be performed on a female in the definition of the term "circumcision", such procedures and means therefor are not included in the subject matter of this subclass; patents directed to clitoridectomy or preputium clitoridectomy and similar procedures, excluded above, are properly classifiable in subclass 119.
