DEFINITION

Classification: 59/26

Combined machines for making chains by winding several convolutions of the stock or wire into link form and welding the same into an integral link. These machines are usually constructed so that the convolutions of the link being wound shall pass through the previously formed link. Also machines which simply perform the operation of winding without welding.
