DEFINITION

Classification: 585/7

Component of indefinite molecular weight greater than 150:

(under subclass 1) Subject matter containing a component which (a) is not describable by an empirical formula free of numeric ranges and (b) has a molecular weight greater than 150.

(1) Note. Where the component is normally solid or is a

heavy, oily material, it is assumed to have a molecular weight greater than 150.
