(under subclass 78) Devices wherein the traverse or movement of an element of a twisting couple during winding of strand material controls the stopping, under predetermined conditions, usually when sufficient material is wound on the receiver. Such devices may be associated with the ring rail, the bobbin rail, or the builder motion, or an element moving synchronously therewith.
