DEFINITION

Classification: 564/91

(under subclass 90) Compounds wherein the amino nitrogen compound residue contains a carbonyl, cyano, nitro, nitroso, halogen, or sulfur attached directly to the sulfonamido nitrogen or to an amino nitrogen by nonionic bonding.

(1) Note. For purposes of this classification compounds having the structure RSO2-N-halogen are considered to be acid halides of analogs of hydroxamic acids and are classified in Class 562, subclass 837.
