DEFINITION

Classification: 56/13.2

(under subclass 13.1) Machine further provided with means mounted on a driving shaft located in the air duct near the vegetation end thereof, which means imparts multitudinous impulses to the vegetation adjacent the air duct whereby to agitate the vegetation and separate one portion from another.

(1) Note. The impulse means usually comprises a rotating shaft having bristles or loosely-mounted flail elements thereon, but may include any other means that beats the vegetation.
