DEFINITION

Classification: 525/191

Polymer mixture of two or more solid polymers derived from ethylenically unsaturated reactants only; or mixtures of said polymer mixture with a chemical treating agent; or products

or processes of preparing any of the above mixtures:

(under subclass 55) Subject matter which concerns mixing of two or more solid polymers derived from ethylenically unsaturated reactants only, a mixture of said polymer mixture with a chemical treating agent, or processes of forming or the resultant product of any of the above mixtures.

(1) Note. Excluded from this subclass are multi-step polymerization-postpoly-merization processes which occurs in the presence of a single preformed solid polymer from ethylenic reactants only and an ethylenic reactant which affords a polymeric mixture.

(2) Note. Placement of a patent in this subclass is on the basis of the ethylenic reactants used in the preparation of solid polymer and not on the basis of ethylenic reactants which may be reacted with a mixture of solid polymers from ethylenic reactants only.
