With a polycarboxylic acid or derivative and a polyamine or the corresponding salt thereof; or with a lactam; or with an aminocarboxylic acid; or with the corresponding polymers; and wherein the monomer or polymer was derived from at least one saturated reactant:

(under subclass 55) Subject matter wherein in addition to the solid polymer derived from ethylenic reactants only, there is additionally present (a) a polycarboxylic acid or derivative and a polyamine at least one of which is saturated or a polymer or condensate thereof; or a saturated lactam or polymer thereof; or a saturated aminocarboxylic acid or polymer thereof, or an amine salt of a saturated carboxylic acid or polymer thereof; or (b) a solid polymer derived from at least one lactam, aminocarboxylic acid, amine salt of a polycarboxylic acid, or polycarboxylic acid and a polyamine and at least one of the reactants forming the solid polymer is saturated.
