DEFINITION

Classification: 514/25

O-glycoside:

(under subclass 23) Subject matter wherein the saccharide is an acetal derivative of a cyclic form of sugars in which the hydrogen atom of the hemiacetal hydroxyl has been replaced by an alkyl, aralkyl or aryl group.

(1) Note. An O-glycoside is a compound having a sugar moiety connected to an aglycone moiety via oxygen.
