(under subclass 206) Compositions wherein the humate or lignin component contains sulfur or has been reacted with a substance containing sulfur (e.g., lignosulfonate, lignosulfate, sulfoalkylated humates such as sulfomethylated quebracho, sulfite liquor, etc.).

(1) Note. Included in this subclass is a lignin or humate component containing sulfur or reacted with sulfur which is also grafted onto a polymer or resin.

(2) Note. The final component need not contain sulfur.
