DEFINITION

Classification: 5/28

(under subclass 12.1) Devices possessing a section substantially in the position of a seat and pivotally connected forwardly, so it may be overturned outwardly and forwardly through about 180 deg. to form part of the bed bottom. The actual stuffed seat may be padding on one side of this section or be attached shiftably to it (see subclass 59.1) or free from it.
