(under subclass 400) Device wherein the support surface is bed bottoms formed of systems of straight elongated resilient members which have no auxiliary spring supports and which are sufficiently rigid as to require no end tension.
(1) Note. This subclass accepts systems of slats in which the slats are themselves extensible.
(2) Note. The bed bottom may support bedding directly or it may be used to support other types of bed bottoms.
