(under the class definition) Subject matter wherein a pulley* includes a belt*-engaging surface of surfaces adjustably movable in a direction radially outward of the axis of rotation of the pulley to increase the effective diameter of the pulley; or wherein plural alternately usable pulleys are arrangeable with respect to each other in a manner such that a common radial line from the axis of rotation passes first through the belt-engaging surface of the inactive pulley then through the belt-engaging surface of the active pulley.
