(1) Note. The device may be an improved feed ramp or a
transition housing or the infeed area with an improved geometry which facilitates imparting a radial motion to the crop material early in its travel as it enters the threshing and separating cylinders and prevents back-feeding of the crop material down the feed conveyor.
