Single or vestigial sideband system:

(under subclass 39) Subject matter where one sideband of the transmitted signal is largely or entirely suppressed while the second sideband has little or no suppression.

(1) Note. The carrier is not suppressed.

(2) Note. In this class, the term asymmetric sideband is generic to single and vestigial sideband.
