DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM (E.G., PLURAL CABLES, ETC.):

(under the class definition) Subject matter including an organized arrangement of transmission links, of either cable or radiant energy type, for connecting a plurality of discrete subscribers to a source of information signals.

(1) Note. This subclass and its indents are intended to collect devices, such as community antennas, national networks, and hotel cable systems.

(2) Note. Distribution systems which are designed for a specific type of signal such as television and digital are not classified here, but rather in the appropriate class thereto.

(3) Note. Police, fire, and other radiotelephone systems which may include some elements of a distribution system are classified elsewhere. See the search notes below.
