DEFINITION

Classification: 455/303

Using plural separate signal paths:

(under subclass 296) Subject matter comprising means for receiving a modulated carrier input signal wave consisting of a plurality of signal translating channels including at least one main channel, which one channel includes means for selecting a carrier component having a first characteristic type of modulation representing a desired signal as well as a second type of modulation representing undesired signal disturbances, and at least one other auxiliary signal translating channel comprising means for selectively detecting only modulation representing undesired signal disturbances and means responsive to the output of both channels to reduce or cancel the effects of the undesirable signal disturbances.
