(under subclass 162) Subject matter comprising an aperture through which the air is exhausted from the outlet passage to atmosphere, which aperture is in an outer boundary portion of the transporting device, which boundary portion faces horizontally and transverse to a direction of forward movement of the device.
(1) Note. An outlet through a vehicle side door or side pillar (e.g., C-pillar, etc.) is included in this subclass.
(2) Note. The outer boundary portion through which the air is exhausted usually forms a barrier of the ventilated space.
