(under subclass 757) Electrical connector wherein the means to break the joint between the battery terminal post and the clamp connector comprises a screw-threaded member, which screw-threaded member is also the means by which the clamp connector is placed into gripping engagement with the battery terminal post; the motion resulting from rotating the screw-threaded member in one direction causes the clamping pressure to be applied to the terminal post, while the motion resulting from rotating the screw-threaded member in the opposite direction causes the joint between the terminal post and the clamp connector to be broken.
