Conductive shielding material individually surrounding or interposed between mutually insulated contacts:
(under subclass 607) Electrical connector comprising at least two mutually insulated contacts carried in a relatively fixed spaced relation one from another by an insulating body to form a coupling part* specially adapted to mate or interengage with a complementary plural-contact-carrying counterpart* so as to form an electrical joint having at least two mutually insulated electrical paths, and wherein the conductive screen means comprises conductive material either (a) formed around but spaced apart from at least a portion of at least one contact, so that the contact is inductively screened from the one or more other contacts, or (b) interposed between two or more contacts, so that the contacts are inductively screened from one another.
