For unsupported coupling part and unsupported mating part (e.g.., connecting extension cords):

(under subclass 345) Coupling part not intended to be held against gravity by a base member and wherein the mating part to which it is adapted to be connected is also not intended to be held against gravity by a base member.

(1) Note. Included herein is a coupling part that is the termination of an "extension cord" adapted to be connected to another extension cord.

(2) Note. The means retaining a pair of coupling parts together of this subclass my inherently relieve a contact from stress.
