DEFINITION

BUS DUCT:

(under the class definition) Electrical connector comprising an elongated, reasonably uniform cross section, rigid metallic housing and a plurality of rigid metallic contacts (i.e., buses) extending therealong and spaced therefrom.

(1) Note. "Bus duct" is an art term.

(2) Note. A second housing of reasonably uniform cross-section connected at its end with the first housing is not considered to be "distinct" from the first and such a combination is included herein.
