(under subclass 123) Electrical connector comprising a coupling part* (a) for mating with a first mating part and including integrally therewith a second coupling part for mating with a second mating part to thereby connect together the first and second mating parts, wherein the first and second mating parts could both be interconnected directly; (b) for mating with a first mating part, and including integrally therewith a plurality of second in configuration to the first mating parts for mating with plural other mating parts to provide multiple access to the first mating part; or (c) for mating with a first mating part and including integrally therewith a second coupling part similar in configuration to the first mating part to effectively
reposition the second mating part from the location of the first mating part if it were interfitted therewith.
(1) Note. The coupling part of clause (a) allows a coupling part to be electrically connected to a physically noninterfitting mating part; the coupling part of clause (b) allows plural mating parts to be electrically connected to a single coupling part; and the coupling part of clause (c) effectively repositions a mating part.
