DEFINITION

Classification: 439/114

Bus duct:

(under subclass 113) Electrical connector comprising an elongated, rigid metallic housing of reasonably uniform cross-section, and a plurality of rigid metallic contacts (i.e., buses) extending therealong and spaced therefrom.

(1) Note. "Bus duct" is an art term.

(2) Note. A second housing of reasonable uniform cross-section connected at its end with the first housing is not considered to be "distinct from the first and such a combination is included herein".
