Compound movement, e.g.., rotary + linear:

(under subclass 1) Device wherein relative movement of one of the conductors with respect to the other is (a) in a first direction and then in a second direction; or, (b) in a manner that is best defined as including two components of movement.

(1) Note. Helical motion is best defined as rotary + linear.
