(under subclass 325) Subject matter wherein animal cells are detached from a solid surface or matrix, or from one another, or a primary culture of animal cells is established.

(1) Note. Establishing a primary culture entails starting a culture of the organisms of choice from their original source, such as a tissue sample, blood, etc.
