DEFINITION

Classification: 430/50

Deformation imaging, e.g., frost imaging, etc.:

(under subclass 31) Processes wherein the imaged medium is used to form a deformation image usually in the form of a relief or frost pattern by deforming a compliant layer or film. The deformation of the compliant layer is mostly performed by heating or solvent treatment. Sometimes the imaging and deformation of the compliant layer are done simultaneously.

290, for light-scattering images not involving electric or a magnetic imaging.
