Impression development:

(under subclass 97) Processes wherein the latent image is developed by direct surface-to-surface transfer of dry powder toner to the medium. Usually the toner need not carry an electrical charge. Such developing procedures as roller, contact, touchdown, donor, and transfer developing techniques are included.
