DEFINITION

Classification: 43/73

(under subclass 58) Traps which are originally set by the operator, usually by winding up a spring or the equivalent, which are capable of catching a number of animals, and which reset themselves without any attention after each animal is disposed of.

(1) Note. These traps are distinguishable from self and ever set traps by the fact that they must be originally set and that they eventually run down, whereupon they must be set again.
