Classification: 428/588

(under subclass 544) Subject matter comprising a web or sheet made of longitudinally parallel layers or components, at least some of which are not fastened to any other component.

(1) Note. Generally a subsequent manufacturing operation bonds the layers or component together.

(2) Note. Provision for gravity alone to hold the pile together is not considered fastening.
