DECORATIVE ARTICLE:

(under the class definition) Subject matter comprising a fully shaped article which has as its only utility merely the adornment, or embellishment of a place or thing and not provided for elsewhere.

(1) Note. When any function other than mere appearance is ascribed to an article in the specification or claims of a patent, the patent is placed in the class and subclass which provides for that other function.
