DEFINITION

Classification: 428/408

(under the class definition) Product which comprises a web*, sheet* or shape retaining body of free carbon in any of its allotropic forms and which is saturated, permeated or covered with extraneous material.

(1) Note. Typical of the products found herein is a carbon brush for an electric motor or a carbon rod for an arc lamp, which rod may be permeated or impregnated with an extraneous material and not structurally defined as set forth in the definition of subclass 357.
