Classification: 428/404

(under subclass 403) Product in which the particulate matter comprises (1) silicon or (2) a material containing a metal* from Group IV B, V B or VI B of the periodic system, known as refractory metals and consisting of Ti, Zi, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo and W.

(1) Note. The silicon or the refractory metal* can be present as either the free element or as a compound containing the element.

(2) Note. The silicic or refractory material can be present as either the base* (substrate*) or the coating.
