DEFINITION

Classification: 428/402.22

Addition polymer from unsaturated monomers only:

(under subclass 402.21) Subject matter wherein the synthetic

polymer is derived only from ethylenically unsaturated reactants.

(1) Note. The term "ethylenically unsaturated" includes acethlenic-type compounds but excludes homocyclic aromatic compounds, i.e., benzene-type compounds. Compounds, such as pyridine, diazine, pyrrole would be ethyienically unsaturated.
