Inorganic oxygen-containing compound containing layer formed (e.g., hydroxyapatite, ceramic, glass):

(under subclass 2.26) Processes in which the layer formed

contains an inorganic compound which contains an oxygen atom; the oxygen being present as an intended component, not merely as an impurity.

(1) Note. The inorganic oxygen-containing compound containing layer does not have to comprise a continuous matrix of the inorganic oxygen-containing compound.
