or turning operation whereby a preform is reshaped into a coil, helix, corkscrew, spiral or the like.
(1) Note. Included under this definition is any means, no matter how simple, (e.g.., mandrel, etc..) which has features provided specifically for this function.
(2) Note. Corrugating, per se, is excluded; see subclasses 396+ below.
(3) Note. Means generating less than a 360 deg. turn are included only if a projection of the motion would result in a product defined above.
