DEFINITION

Classification: 425/340

(under the class definition) Apparatus comprising a plurality of separate and distinct dynamic means, identifiable as separate units, each of which has a working (e.g.., shaping) motion independent of the others to change the configuration of one or more preforms or (2) to vulcanize one or more preforms which are maintained in an operative position by a support of the same general configuration as the preforms.

(1) Note. A press couple in which different parts thereof act sequentially on a common preform are included; whereas a "gang" mold type is classified under the appropriate main line subclasses appearing below.
