Attached to antigen or hapten; derivative thereof:

(under subclass 1.11) Subject matter in which the radionuclide or intended radionuclide is attached (bonded, chelated, complexed) to an antigen or a hapten; and the derivatives thereof.

(1) Note. An antigen is a compound which induces the formation of an antibody in the living body.

(2) Note. A hapten is a compound that has little or no antigenicity unless coupled to a carrier molecule.
