DEFINITION

Classification: 423/130

(under subclass 111) Processes in which the mixture contains an impurity which meets the definitions of an organic compound and the process includes a step of (1) removing the impurity from the mixture or (2) doing away with or breaking up completely the impurity.

(1) Note. The organic impurity may be done away with or broken up completely by any means, as for example, chemical or flame oxidation, or combustion, etc.
