Structured visual or optical indicator, per se:

(under subclass 50) Apparatus comprising (a) a structured indicator; i.e., an indicator which is more than a composition, per se, and has structure, or (b) liquid crystals, per se, which give a visual or optical indication of the presence or amount of material to be tested in the sample.
