(under subclass 14) Firearms having a chamber which is movable relative to the barrel and surrounds or holds a cartridge or load in firing position, and which may be integral with, connected to, or separate from, the sliding breechblock.
(1) Note. This subclass also includes sectional chambers if at least one section is movable relative to the barrel.
(2) Note. A magazine as distinguished from a chamber, does not hold the cartridge or load in firing position.
