(under subclass 26) Processes in which the sintered compact undergoes an additional mechanical treatment.
(1) Note. The working step may comprise, e.g., mechining, assembling, forging, peening, rolling or other shaping, cutting, etc.
(2) Note. If the product is heated and held at such a temperature for an extended period of time, the presumption shall be that any pressing operating is a working step under this subclass definition.
