DEFINITION

Classification: 418/95

(under subclass 83) Apparatus in which the working and nonworking fluids are in separate compartments of the device and including means intermediate the compartments to divert or vent away either fluid tending to move in a direction to mix with the other fluid.

(1) Note. A mere seal means between the two compartments is not considered proper for classification here. See subclass 104 for such subject matter.
