DEFINITION

Classification: 418/216

(under subclass 215) Apparatus in which there is provided in each working chamber a working member or a working portion thereof in the form of a helix, the helix extending along or generally parallel to the working member axis of rotation.

(1) Note. Devices in which a working chamber is partitioned by a member in the form of a helix so that a working chamber is formed on each side thereof are considered proper for classification here.
